Coast Guard Portsmouth
The Coast Guard Portsmouth, VA is a division of the Coast Guard Sector Hampton Roads, and it offers a number of supportive services, including administrative support. Additionally, this housing community offers support services for personnel and units within the 5th District of the U.S. Coast Guard. Coast Guard Station Cape Charles

The installation is located in Dahlgren, VA, which is approximately 23 miles east of Fredericksburg, VA.
Dam Neck Naval Station
Dam Neck is a division of the Naval Air Station Oceana, and it is the location of the Naval Surface Warfare Center's Fleet Combat Training Center, Atlantic. This training center is conveniently and strategically located within 30 minutes of approximately 50 percent of the U.S. Fleet. The housing on this installation is privatized. There are a total of five residential communities that contain a total of 991 homes that can be rented or purchased. There is also temporary base lodging and local hotels to help families with their initial lodging requirements. The off-base housing is managed by Lincoln Military Housing.
Defense Health Headquarters Falls Church
The Defense Health Headquarters facility is located in Falls Church, VA, and it consists of three interconnected buildings that were built between 1950 and 1980. All three of these buildings have been completely renovated, and they house several defenses and medical elements. This base functions a part of a large military community, which means that there are multitudinous housing options. Homes are available for purchase of rental. There is also on-base lodging and local hotels to address the need for temporary lodging.
Defense Supply Center Richmond
This installation is the aviation supply and demand chain manager for the Defense Logistics Agency. Additionally, it serves as an internal element of the Department of Defense — supplying in excess of one million operating items and repair parts. Although military housing is not available at this facility, there are a number of housing options available. There are a significant number of military families that reside inside the local economy. Fort AP Hill
Fort AP Hills has become known as the place where America's Military sharpens its combat edge. The base is located about 90 minutes south of the National Capital Region. Resting on 76,000 acres of land, this base is one of the largest East Coast military installations which facilitates units engaging in a number training exercises, including small unit operations and major maneuvers. Currently there are a limited number of units available for Military Housing; however, there are a number of homes that may be purchased or rented. Serving as a strategic sustaining base for the U.S. Army, Fort Belvoir Homes is the home to a number of high-ranking Department of Defense personnel. This base is responsible for providing intelligence, administrative support and logistical support to various agencies, commands and activities. Military housing on this base is privatized. The on-base housing ranges from homes with two to five bedrooms that are available in a number of styles, including traditional, historic and modern. The homes are managed by the Michaels Organization. Fort Eustis has now merged with Langley AFB, and the base is now known as Joint Base Langley Eustis. The base is now controlled by the USAF; however, unlike other bases that are considered to be joint, the two entities are separated by 17 miles, so there is very little overlapping or personnel. The housing for this installation is located in the Hampton Roads, Newport News area of Virginia, and it consists of 980 homes that are located in a total of 10 different neighborhoods. This installation is home to several major commands, including the Combined Arms Support Command, the Army Logistics Management College, the Quartermaster Center and School, The U.S. Army Garrison and the headquarters for the Defense Commissary Command. Fort Lee has privatized Military housing. Housing is available in 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes. These homes are conveniently positioned within five neighborhood centers. Fort Monroe, which is also known as Fortress Monroe has been officially designated as a National Monument by President Barack Obama. Langley AFB and Fort Eustis have combined to form Joint Base Langley Eustis. Although Langley AFB is now in control of the entire base, the two units are separated by 17 miles. Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base
The Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base and the U.S. Army's Fort Story have combined to create the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek Fort Story. This base is considered to be the largest of its kind in the entire world. It serves as the operating station for the amphibious forces of the U.S. Atlantic Fleet. The base is considered to be one command with two properties.
